Reimagining the untold story of the witches of Oz, Wicked follows the unlikely friendship between Elphaba, a misunderstood young woman with extraordinary powers, and Glinda, a popular and ambitious student.

Set before Dorothy arrives in Oz, Wicked reveals how their lives take very different paths—and how one becomes known as the Wicked Witch of the West!

With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, Wicked has become one of Broadway’s most celebrated Tony Award winning musicals!

From the Christchurch producers of recent seasons of Blood Brothers, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Jersey Boys, this classic story promises to be the show to see in Christchurch in 2027.
