TEG Live is proud to present Secret Screenings with Beau Miles, an intimate live touring show bringing Beau’s unreleased and unfinished film collection — none of it yet on YouTube — to venues across Australia and New Zealand in 2026.
The premise is straightforward: three or four of Beau’s new films, shown somewhere between a first and final draft. The audience won’t know the titles before they see them. The films aren’t finished, but are entirely watchable. And in between screenings, Beau tells the stories behind them - why they exist, why they look the way they do, and why a man who lives on a small farmlet in Victoria keeps putting himself through things that are, by his own admission, sometimes remarkable, often mundane, and occasionally disgusting.
It’s an evening that moves between film and live performance - part director’s commentary, part stand-up tangent, part confessional. The stories may or may not connect to the films. The Q&A that closes the evening has been independently verified as world-class by one audience member. That audience member was Beau. He’s confident.
Beau Miles has built a devoted following through a body of work that resists easy categorisation - adventure films that aren’t really about adventure, mundane experiments that turn out to mean something, and a stubborn commitment to doing things slowly and in person. Secret Screenings brings that sensibility into the room: unmediated, unfinished, and told by the person who made it.
