Every human heart is thirsty. We search for love, beauty and meaning in a thousand places, and still find ourselves coming back wanting.

The Well is an evening of live music, story and reflection with internationally renowned speaker Dr Christopher West and singer-songwriter Mike Mangione, visiting from the United States for one night only in Christchurch.

Drawing on the biblical encounter between Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well, Christopher and Mike explore the deepest longings of the human heart, the God who thirsts for us in return, and the gift that answers that thirst.

This isn't a lecture. It's an invitation to slow down, to listen, and to come and drink deeply, with beautiful insights into our humanity woven through with music.

Recommended for ages 15+. Presented by the St John Paul II Centre with support from the Catholic Diocese of Christchurch and the Catholic Enquiry Centre.
