Ko Whiri Tika Mai is the official Rangitāne Primary & Intermediate Regional Kapa Haka competition.
This prestigious event serves as the regional qualifier for Te Mana Kuratahi, the National Primary Schools Kapa Haka competition to be held in Whangārei in 2027.
This year, the stage will come alive as 26 incredible kapa from across our rohe showcase their passion, pride, and dedication to te ao haka.
With only six qualifying spots available for the national festival, the standard of performance will be fierce, and the energy will be unforgettable.
