Presented by: Jonathan Lemalu

Dunedin’s own Grammy award-winning opera singer, Jonathan Lemalu, returns home from London to celebrate the vocal community that formed his early career journey as a church, school and choir chorister to a life on the international stage as an opera and concert singer, recitalist and recording artist.

A fun and intimate evening of reflection and memories, he will be joined by a special group of local artists and ensembles, each a lasting and vital part of his formative musical training years.

Cantores choir, Southern Youth Choir, RSA choir, OBHS choir, Capping Sextet, students from the University School of Performing Arts, Opera Otago and pianist Terence Dennis are just a few of the contributing artists.

Come and enjoy an exciting and memorable evening as we support and celebrate all things Dunedin.
