The sublime score for Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro (May 2010)is witty and playful with wonderful moments of pathos, the result is an undisputed masterpiece. Our second opera of the year, The Genesis Energy Season of Macbeth (October 2010) is a truthful version of Shakespeare’s play and potently captures this classic tale of ambition, corruption and bloody revenge.
We’ve secured some stellar artists for both seasons including Nuccia Focile, Wendy Dawn Thompson, Riccardo Novaro, Helen Medlyn, Jason Howard, Antonia Cifrone, Jud Arthur, Morag Atchison and many more. Featuring The Chapman Tripp Opera Chorus and the Vector Wellington Orchestra.
